If you were a mushroom what kind of mushroom would you be
Ooooh. A difficult question...
I think I'd be a Hedgehog Mushroom [Hydnum repandum]

Although Swamp Beacon [Mitrula elegans] and Green Elfcup [Chlorociboria aeruginascens] were close contenders.

Tiny Chlorociboria aeruginosa fruiting bodies This colorful genus can be identified just from the cyan stain it leaves on wood, but the fruiting bodies (apothecia) are needed for a species ID, to differentiate it from aeruginascens

Self-made Mycologist in training here:
I believe I recognize a few of these, (although I can't say anything conclusively without pictures of all sides, bisection, spore prints, specific nearby environments, etc.)
1. This is a very unique colored mushroom with this shape. My guess would be an elfcup (Chlorociboria aeruginosa) or (Chlorociboria aeruginascens). These are the only two species in the genus Chlorociboria.
2. I am very sure the second is a coral fungus, a violet/magenta coral fungus to be exact (Clavaria zollingeri)
3. I cannot conclusively confirm with no underside shown but I believe this is violet toothed polypore (Trichaptum biforme) however it could also be the similar-looking species (Trichaptum abietinum)
4. This is more of a guesstimate with only a picture of the cap but the color reminds me of chantarelles, goblet waxcaps, or a wax cap of some sort.
5. This one has a lot of common names, black trumpet, black chantarelle, trumpet of the dead, and horn of plenty. I will note the horn of plenty (Craterellus cornucopioides) is a variety distinct to Europe, differing from the very similar North American variety (Craterellus fallax). There is also the Fragrant Trumpet, (Craterellus foetidus), the Cerulean Black Trumpet (Craterellus foetidus), and the California Black Trumpet (Craterellus caeruleofuscus).
However!
The distinction (based upon different spore color prints) was made in recent years, meaning many North American identification books will group all or many of these under (Craterellus cornucopioides). In your case, due to your location, I would idenifity it as the Eastern North American (Craterellus fallax). Anywho, any variety of this mushroom is edible (DO NOT USE THIS POST AS ENOUGH PROOF TO CONSUME), and a mycorrhizal (creating symbiotic relationships with the roots of plants) variety of fungi.
6. and 9. look to be similar if not the same species at different developmental stages. These look like something in the Hygrocybe genus.
7. Without more pictures I can't be sure but maybe Tiger's Eye (Coltricia perennis) or maybe (Coltricia cinnamomea)?
8. Bleeding Mycena (Mycena haematopus), if you cut these a red latex liquid will seep out, hence the name.
10. Potentially turkey tail
I do identifications based off the features I can surmise from the pictures given, in no way are these conclusive results, and some are closer to guesses. I hope I have taught you a little something about fungi, at least the varieties shown here. Have a fun day my fungi-lovers.
Went looking for fungi in the forest with a friend this morning. I've never seen so many different mushrooms in my whole life! Lol! All in one morning, in a very small area of the entire forest! I know close to nothing about mushroom diversity, so I can't put a name to them all, but they were absolutely fascinating to look at! 10/10! 👌 The blue and purple ones were the highlights for me! There's seriously tons more pictures, but I couldn't fit them all into one post. All pictures taken at Lac Beauchamp in Quebec, Canada!

I finally got some pics of my blue-green elf cup mushroom (Chlorociboria aeruginascens) stud earrings and ring and a common oyster cluster ring. There's snow everywhere right now so I had to make do with the "nature" pics with what I had inside lol
Uploading soon on my etsy but there are still lots of others as well!
